Job summary

Onni is seeking an HR Business Partner in Seattle to lead strategic HR initiatives across hotel, restaurant, and food & beverage operations. The role covers employee lifecycle, labor relations, compliance, safety, and analytics in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

The successful candidate brings a passion for hospitality HR, 5+ years of experience in labor relations, and the ability to influence leaders while ensuring lawful, scalable HR practices across shifts and seasons.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee and labor relations issues, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, or shift-based service environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
• At least three years of professional HR administration experience, with labor relations experience preferred.
• Experience supporting hourly, tipped and unionized workforces, including multi-outlet or multi-property operations.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality HR laws, wage/hour, union relations, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with General Managers and department heads, aligning HR initiatives with guest experience and business objectives.
• Own full employee lifecycle in high-volume hiring, including seasonal ramp-ups and pre-opening hiring.
• Promote a culture of hospitality, accountability, and performance across all departments.
• Serve as primary HR contact for employee concerns, conflicts, and performance issues.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify risks and opportunities for intervention and improvement.
