Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Host experience in a well-rated restaurant.
• Ability to speak warmly and clearly in person and on the telephone.
• Experience with restaurant reservation systems and point of sale systems.
• Commitment to creating a welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones politely, take reservations and guest requests.
• Manage reservation system for smooth check-in and seating.
• Maintain updated table information in the reservation system.
• Convey guest information to managers, staff and chefs.
• Manage restaurant wait list during high volume.
• Greet guests warmly on entry and assist with coats, bags, etc.
• Notify management of any guest complaints promptly.
