Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a Host to be the first and last impression of our restaurant, welcoming guests with warmth and setting the tone for their visit.

As part of our Front of House team, you will manage reservations, keep the host stand organized, and work with the team to ensure a seamless dining experience. We offer extensive training, growth opportunities, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more per day.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirements for FOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing to maintain flow and cleanliness.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
