Job summary

The Resort at Summerlin in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Sales Manager to proactively solicit and manage group and catering opportunities up to 74 room nights. This role drives revenue through upselling and seamless coordination with the Event Management Team.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the position requires strong negotiation, relationship-building, and end-to-end sales process knowledge to exceed guest expectations and uphold Marriott standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience in hospitality or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit and manage group and catering opportunities to grow the hotel's business pipeline.
• Upsell each opportunity to maximize revenue and achieve sales goals.
• Respond promptly to incoming group sales leads to convert inquiries into bookings.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to secure future business.
• Coordinate with Operations, Catering and Revenue Management for successful event execution.
