Job summary

Courtyard Raleigh/Cary-Crossroads, operated by CMC Hotels, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead the Front Office and deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will coach the Guest Service team, drive operational excellence, and ensure Marriott brand standards across departments.

You will guide daily front desk operations, support Food & Beverage and Housekeeping as needed, and partner with hotel leadership to optimize guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hotel front desk supervisory experience or four years of progressive hotel front office experience.
• Marriott FOSSE experience preferred.
• Proven leadership skills to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong guest service, communication, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Solid computer proficiency and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the Guest Service team through daily leadership and training.
• Oversee Front Office operations including check-in/check-out, reservations, and PBX.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor Guest Service Representatives.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by promptly addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Review arrivals, departures, occupancy, and revenue opportunities to maximize room revenue.
• Enforce cash handling, credit card, and accounting procedures.
