Job summary

Valor Hospitality is hiring in Huntsville for a dining room role focused on prompt, courteous food and beverage service. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals, and address special requests while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health standards.

We expect 3–6 months in food/beverage service, TIPs certification, English proficiency, and the ability to lift and balance trays. Competitive pay, daily pay options, uniforms, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Must have vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks and menu items.
• Must be TIPs certified.
• Must have manual coordination to punch buttons and carry trays.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders, serve items and accommodate special requests.
• Keep the dining area clean and stocked, perform opening/closing side-work.
• Memorize menu items, daily specials and provide recommendations.
• Ensure checks and payments are accurate and documented.
• Attend pre-meal and department meetings to stay informed.
• Maintain a friendly, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
