Job summary

Regency Oaks is seeking a hospitality focused Cook for full-time production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department. You will ensure top-quality meals, adherence to dietary standards, and maintain cleanliness and food safety.

You’ll interact with residents, support room service, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. The role requires a HS diploma; culinary degree preferred and at least 1 year cooking experience in a restaurant or senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and organizational standards.
• Maintain food quality, appearance and presentation to standards.
• Prepare and serve menu cycle programs per nutritional/dietary criteria.
• Demonstrate speed, accuracy and efficiency in cooking tasks.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing as needed.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and adjust procedures for improvement.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support marketing and occupancy goals.
