Job summary

WS Management Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to respond to a broad range of engineering needs within a hotel environment in San Diego.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, addressing guest repair requests, and inventory control to ensure facilities operate at peak performance. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general systems, work well independently or in a team, and communicate effectively with leadership and guests while maintaining

Qualifications

Experience in hotel or property maintenance is required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and guest-service oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Respond to guest maintenance requests and work orders.
Conduct daily property walk-throughs and address issues.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance for equipment and building systems.
Maintain safety and cleanliness in work areas and affected guest/public spaces.
Install, maintain, and repair appliances and fixtures.
Check and maintain safety systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, ventilation).
Support outdoor upkeep and coordinate with vendors when needed.
Communicate major repairs or safety concerns with management.
