Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a skilled facilities engineer to efficiently operate central HVAC and related mechanical systems in a hotel environment. You will apply sound engineering practices and follow corporate procedures to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include repairing kitchen, laundry, ice machines, boilers, plumbing, and electrical and gas distribution systems; diagnosing electrical/pneumatic issues; and conducting ongoing preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings and technical parts breakdown.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.

Responsibilities

• Operate HVAC and mechanical equipment using engineering practices and SOPs.
• Repair and maintain food production, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, ice machines and refrigeration systems, boilers and plumbing systems and all electrical and natural gas distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and repair them quickly and economically.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an ongoing basis.
