Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for Homestead in Midway, Utah. You will oversee maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring a safe, comfortable guest experience.

The role requires 3–5 years in hotel/HVAC systems, HVAC certification or journeyman level exposure, and prior supervisory experience. Strong communication and leadership are essential for sustaining maintenance standards across the property.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Hotel, institutional, HVAC systems experience of 3-5 years preferred.
• Refrigeration, HVAC certification or journeyman level experience.
• Previous management or supervisory experience of 2-3 years.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, emergency, preventative maintenance systems and all related disciplines.
• Basic computer skills, administrative skills.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with public and other employees.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment for the hotel.
• Ensure guests have a safe and comfortable stay.
• Maintain high morale for engineering shift and coach staff.
• Teach engineering staff how to maintain and repair equipment.
• Solicit input from engineering team and other members.
• Coach or counsel team members effectively.
• Ensure department standards are consistently met.
• Discuss problems with employees as they arise.
