Job summary

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to work with the Director of Engineering, driving standards and meaningful improvements across the 18-acre property. You will lead a skilled team of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical professionals, spend approximately 80% of your time in the field, and oversee preventive maintenance, safety, and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years building maintenance experience.
• Good computer skills.
• Experience leading teams in a multi-faceted hotel or resort operation.
• Experience in a union environment is highly desirable.

• Recruit, train, and motivate a diverse engineering team.
