Clarendale of St. Peters is seeking a hospitality focused Cook to join our team. This role performs full-scope, hands-on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department, upholding quality, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a culinary degree is preferred, and at least one year of restaurant or senior living cooking experience. The starting wage is $21.00 per hour, with work every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Minimum of restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization at all times.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional criteria and prepare diets as required.
• Demonstrate speed, accuracy and efficiency in cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature and appearance; make improvements as needed.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment.
• Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy.
