Job summary

Bellingham at West Chester is recruiting for a hospitality focused Medication Technician to join our team. This role emphasizes compassionate care for residents and reliable medication administration in a senior living setting.

Starting Salary: $22.00/hour. Schedule: Full Time 3pm - 11pm shift. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401k with employer match, health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, daily pay, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the State approved Medicine Aide Course.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Medication Tech Certification with testing/observation hours required.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives treatments, performs tests, carry-out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs.
• Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration.

• Medication Tech Certification with testing/observation hours required.
