Bellingham at West Chester is recruiting a hospitality focused Medication Technician to join our team. This role supports residents with daily living needs and administers medications per protocol. The position offers benefits and a starting wage of $22.00/hour, part-time night shift, with opportunities for growth within the community.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the State approved Medicine Aide Course and any required continuing education.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs.
• Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration.

Schedule: Part Time 11pm - 7am shift

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Medication Technician:

• Medication Tech Certification with testing/observation hours required.
