Job summary

The Clarendale of Addison is seeking a Dining Room Manager to lead dining room operations in the Culinary Services Department. This role ensures high-quality service and a clean, welcoming dining environment for residents and guests.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, and overseeing serving staff, maintaining standards for food quality and presentation, and scheduling to meet budgetary requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position at 1651 West Lake St, Addison, IL 60101.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years restaurant or senior living experience, or equivalent serving and staff management experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation, coordination, appearance, and maintenance of dining room and serving staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Provide leadership, development and training, counseling, scheduling and oversight of all serving staff.
• Uphold cleanliness, sanitation and organization according to Community standards.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, operation and stocking of the dining room.
• Demonstrate serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Train servers in customer service, serving techniques, table settings and workstation maintenance.
• Prepare server schedules according to operational needs and budget.
