Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function for its portfolio of managed hotels. The role ensures accurate monthly closes, scalable processes, and effective management of outsourced partners.

This position focuses on building the accounting product, with FP&A owned by the VP of FP&A and CFO oversight. The Corporate Controller will drive SOPs, system integrations, and staff development to support growth and reliable financial reporting across

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience in hospitality or multi-site environments.
Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems (M3) and BI/reporting platforms (ProfitSword).
Experience managing or mentoring an accounting team, including outsourced/offshore partners.
Strong process orientation; ability to design, document, and scale SOPs in a growing org.
CPA or equivalent credential preferred; high accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

Own and manage monthly close processes for the portfolio.
Review and oversee monthly close for all properties, ensuring accuracy.
Oversee reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid schedules.
Lead accounting systems and integrations (M3, Nexus, Birchstreet, BILL, Otelier).
Train and mentor accounting staff; escalate as needed.
Coordinate with CFO and CEO on staffing, audits, and tax workflows.
