Job summary

The Group Hospitality, a New York-based operator of landmark restaurant concepts, seeks a Construction Project Manager for on-site work in New York, NY with up to 25% travel. You will manage planning, budgets, timelines and contractor coordination to deliver high-quality venues.

Ideal candidates bring strong experience in construction project management, budgeting, risk mitigation, and leadership. A related bachelor’s degree is preferred and PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination and construction project management.
• Strong budgeting and financial management for construction projects.
• Expertise in construction and project management methodologies.
• Ability to analyze risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and permitting.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of construction projects for The Group Hospitality.
• Coordinate construction processes, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and safety standards.
