Job summary
McGuire Builders, Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager with hotel and restaurant construction/renovation experience to support project managers across all phases.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other professionals, maintaining project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and cost tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience in hotel/restaurant construction or renovations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
Responsibilities
- Interpret plans, specs, and details for subcontractors and trades.
- Assist in pre-construction plans and project execution strategies.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other professionals.
