Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Guest Request Runner. You will promptly deliver guest-requested items, assist with room-related needs, and support Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services to ensure timely fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and dedicated to exceeding guest expectations through professional service. This is an hourly, entry-level role offering growth opportunities within a renowned resort.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull as necessary to complete tasks (up to 50 pounds).
• Flexible schedule with open availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest-requested items, amenities, and supplies to guestrooms promptly and courteously.
• Respond to guest requests including extra towels, linens, toiletries, cribs, rollaway beds, and other room needs.
• Maintain communication with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services teams to fulfill requests efficiently.
• Provide accurate information regarding resort facilities, services, dining options, and recreational activities.
• Anticipate guest needs and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist guests with directions and transportation information within the resort.
• Maintain knowledge of resort offerings, events, promotions, and updates.
• Document completed requests and report unresolved concerns to management.
• Ensure deliveries meet Hyatt service standards and departmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.
• Support other departments during high volume periods.
