Chelsea Piers Fitness in New York City seeks a Hospitality Associate to deliver warm, 5-star service. You will welcome members and guests, manage check-ins, answer questions with energy, and support front desk and event activations throughout busy shifts.

You’ll collaborate across departments, stay alert to facilities and safety, and solve problems with professionalism. The role suits people who love fitness, can multitask in a high-energy space, and are available nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in customer service, hospitality, or fitness.
• Knowledge of gym operations, group fitness, or front-line tech platforms.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

• Welcoming every member, prospective member and guest with a warm first and last impression.
• Mastering member systems for smooth check-ins, class arrivals, and guest experiences.
• Answering phones and member questions with energy, empathy and ownership.
• Supporting shift-specific needs like front desk, concierge, marketing, or street team activations.
• Keeping an eye on facilities, locker rooms, events, and personal training sessions and submitting tickets.
• Collaborating with every department, from sales to operations.

Preferably Associate Degree or higherCompensation:Status: part or full-time availability depends on club’s needsPart-time = 12-29 hoursFull-time = 30-39 hoursPay Transparency:$18/hour
