Job summary

Cantex is seeking a Hospitality Aide in Livingston, TX to support residents with daily care and a safe, comfortable environment. The role collaborates with the healthcare team to assist with daily operations and patient care activities, promoting resident independence and well-being.

Responsibilities include observing residents, performing routine tasks, maintaining equipment, and participating in training programs.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

• Support adherence to Abuse Prevention policies.
• Promote safety and quality of care initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support residents and patients in maintaining the greatest possible level of independence.
• Observe residents and contribute relevant information regarding patient observations as directed.
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Ensure equipment and mobile devices remain clean, functional, and properly charged and report malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Participate in required in-service training and Patient Care Management Systems education activities.
• Perform incidental housekeeping and maintenance tasks necessary to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Support compliance with Abuse Prevention policies and procedures.
• Promote patient and resident safety and support quality care initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
