Maple Heights Health & Rehab Center is seeking a Hospitality Aide to support caregivers, greet residents, answer phones, and assist with daily tasks while attending the Nurse Aide Class. You will participate in a hands-on program and begin in a paid role.

The position offers flexible pay options (On-Demand or Weekly), full-time hours, and wage growth after class completion, with a focus on patient comfort and teamwork in a family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a high school program or be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist caregivers to provide a safe environment and attend to residents' physical needs and comfort.
• Greet members/guests and answer the telephone and inquiries.
• Perform administrative tasks as directed by the community administration.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist caregivers to provide a safe environment, give emotional and social support, and attend to the resident's physical needs and comfort. Performs supportive role to Nursing Assistants and Charge Nurse. Responsible for greeting members/guests, answering the telephone, answering inquires, and providing the service that individuals expect. Administrative tasks are also asked of this position. Performs other duties as directed by representatives of the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education & Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in a high school program or be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Previous experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunities Available
• Shifts Needed:
  • Hospitality Aide hours will vary based on the need of the facility
  • Class will be held Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 3:30p
• Wage: $13.00 per hour as Hospitality Aide and during class
  • Wage will increase after class has been completed
