Job summary

Ledgent is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across a portfolio of hospitality properties and business entities. This position will oversee the consolidated month-end close process, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and manage a small team of accounting professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple entities, business units, or locations.
• Strong understanding of month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Month-End Close Process across multiple entities and properties.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure timely consolidated financial reporting.
• Review results and investigate variances to budget and prior periods.
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Support audits, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows.
