Magna Hospitality Group is seeking a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to lead a team of accounting managers across a multi-property hotel portfolio. You will guide financial reporting, internal controls, and forecasting, while partnering with ownership groups and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings deep hospitality accounting expertise, a proven leadership track record, and a proactive, data-driven approach to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years leading teams of 3+ accounting professionals in hospitality or similar corporate setting.
• Experience supporting multi-site hotel operations with hospitality accounting practices.
• Advanced knowledge of general ledger structures, balance sheet integrity, and income statement analysis.
• Understanding of bank reconciliations, sales tax filings, and core compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adjust work hours for month-end close, audits, and time-sensitive needs.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex worksheets and financial models.
• Proficiency in Word and Outlook for documentation and reporting.
• Experience with hospitality/accounting systems such as Sage, Peachtree, Intacct, or Profitsword.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, data-driven, and able to operate independently while aligning with leadership goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey accounting concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5–8 Accounting Managers to foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee monthly financial statements across 30+ properties with insightful commentary.
• Provide strategic financial insights to ownership groups and senior executives.
• Lead readiness for SOC 1 compliance and support external audits.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting across multi-property portfolio.
• Drive process improvements through automation and best-practice controls.
