Responsibilities include supervising associates, coordinating with corporate accounting on payroll, reconciling ledgers, managing audits, and providing financial analysis for budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifikationen

• Previous hospitality accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills in Excel.

Aufgaben

• Interview, select, train, coach and support associates to company standards.
• Plan and organize the hotel accounting team's work to meet reporting deadlines.
• Review ledger reconciliations including bank statements, assets, liabilities and credit cards.
• Oversee internal audit standards.
• Review invoices and sign disbursement checks.
• Monitor coding of cash receipts.
• Prepare monthly utilities and telephone accruals.
• Coordinate and review monthly financial statements for accuracy.
• Provide analysis of financial trends, budgeting and forecasting.
• Administer house banks and conduct audits.
• Coordinate with corporate accounting to monitor payroll functions.
• Monitor inventory records for distribution accuracy.
• Review tax returns for state and federal regulations.
• Prepare annual depreciation schedules.
