Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a scheduling coordinator to update and maintain provider credentials and construct schedules across multiple facilities using advanced scheduling software. You will foster strong relationships with providers and leadership, and ensure timely payroll transactions for PRN and non-standard hours.

The role involves generating schedules for 100+ providers, confirming with providers, and adjusting blocks as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; High School grad or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of complex medical staffing or patient scheduling experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Construct schedules for over 100 providers using scheduling software.
• Schedule providers to Full Time Equivalent (FTE) or contracted shifts.

Job Description:

Updates and maintains provider credentials and constructs in advanced scheduling software. Fosters and maintains good working relationships and communications with providers. Accurately processes payroll transactions for PRN and other non-standard hours/shifts worked. Responds quickly to requests from providers and hospital medicine leadership. Other duties as assigned. Generates schedules for all applicable facilities on time using advanced scheduling software for over 100 providers. Schedules providers to Full Time Equivalent (FTE) or contracted commitment of shifts based on open availability. Regularly updates schedules to accommodate changes or staffing model adjustments. Proactively assesses monthly and ongoing coverage needs. Distributes schedules in advance of the start of a given block. Confirms schedules and shifts with providers. Utilizes algorithms and rules within the scheduling software and established scheduling norms. Plays an integral role in provider onboarding by loading schedule rules and norms based on contractual or FTE constructs.
