Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Physician to provide comprehensive medical services in both practice and hospital settings.

The physician will deliver high-quality, cost-effective medical care and participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include history and physical exams, adherence to guidelines, patient communication, education, and coordination with other professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• MD or DO—licensed by the state licensure board in the state of practice; board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations of patients.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Communicate with referring physicians, patients, and families.
• Participate in patient education and wellness initiatives.
• Coordinate patient care and make referrals as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety and policies.
