Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a physician to join our medical team. The incumbent will deliver high-quality, cost-effective medical care and participate in quality improvement initiatives at the Bethlehem campus and affiliated sites.

The role requires graduate of an accredited medical school, completion of residency/fellowship in the specialty, and current or recent experience. Strong communication with patients, families and referring physicians is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency/fellowship in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provides consultations on all patients as requested by other physicians.
• Rounds on assigned patients and those patients who you are requested to see in collaboration with an AP as needed.
• Provides cost-effective, high quality care based on best practice evidence-based medicine.
• Demonstrates ability to develop effective working relationships with hospital staff and St. Luke’s University Health Network.
