El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our growing inpatient medicine team. This role provides comprehensive, high-quality care to hospitalized adult patients in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to evidence-based medicine, strong clinical outcomes, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.
Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to adult hospitalized patients
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions
Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge
Perform timely patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and respond to changes in clinical status
Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge recommendations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Eligible for medical licensure in California
DEA license (required)
Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care
Previous experience practicing as a Hospitalist
Experience managing complex hospitalized adult patients
Interest in quality improvement, clinical education, or program development
Academic or research experience
Familiarity with multidisciplinary inpatient care models
