The physician will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage admissions through discharge, document in the EMR, and contribute to quality improvement and education initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in California.
• DEA license (required).
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical care to adult hospitalized patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of conditions.

• Develop treatment plans and respond to changes in status.
• Communicate with patients and families about diagnoses and discharge.

Hospitalist Physician

El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a highly skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our growing inpatient medicine team. This role provides comprehensive, high-quality care to hospitalized adult patients in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to evidence-based medicine, strong clinical outcomes, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to adult hospitalized patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
• Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge
• Perform timely patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and respond to changes in clinical status
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge recommendations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Preferred Qualifications
