A Hospitalist Physician provides medical care to hospitalized patients primarily in an internal medicine context, covering for one week per month with 12-16 patients daily. The position requires board certification in internal medicine or family practice with acute hospitalist experience, as well as a Minnesota state license and DEA certification. Evening shifts are from 3-11 PM, and candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Contract Length : Monthly for up to 6 months

Shift Details (hours) : Evening shifts 3-11p

Requirements :

• Board Certification : IM preferred- could entertain an FP if acute hospitalist experience
• License Required or will you license : MN state license
• Is a DEA required : yes
• Certifications Preferred :
• Certifications Required : ACLS
• Minimum Experience Required : 5+ years of experience preferred; some hospitalist inpatient hospital experience required
• Credentialing 90-120 days
