Job description

Hospitalist opening in Red Wing, MN

Location: Red Wing, Minnesota, 50 miles from Minneapolis

Role: Full-time/Permanent

Description:

• 7 12-hour shifts on & 7 days off
• Perform daily patient rounds and provide inpatient consults as requested
• Respond to code blues and rapid response team calls
• Assist the ER during high flow episodes as permitted by primary duties
• Ideal candidates should be team players, enjoy working closely with multi-specialty groups, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues

The hospital is a 50-bed facility with 4 ICU beds, 4 OR rooms, and 12 ED exam rooms. The practice includes:

• 80 providers across multiple specialties
• Service area of approximately 50,000 residents
• Locations in Red Wing, Lake City, and Austin, MN
