Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens coverage in Crown Point, NM. Start ASAP with pay rate of $179.45–$194.25 per hour. The role supports a 2-day weekend schedule (Sat-Sun 7:30a–8:00p) with a half-hour lunch.

RN, MA and mid-level staff support are provided. Certs: BC in FM/IM, BLS, unrestricted license; credentialing in 45–60 days. The facility emphasizes general hospitalist procedures, RPMS EMR usage, and a robust benefits process including malpractice coverage and

Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Unrestricted state license required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Saturday–Sunday 7:30a–8:00p with 1/2 lunch.
• Census per provider per shift is 3–4 patients.
• Perform general hospitalist procedures as needed.
• Use RPMS electronic medical record system.
• Receive support from registered nurses, medical assistants and mid-level staff.

This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Saturday - Sunday 7:30a-8:00p (1/2 lunch)
• Total census per provider per shift:3 - 4
• Procedures required:General hospitalist procedures
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR):RPMS
• Support: Registered nurses, medical assistants and mid-level support
• Certifications and license required: Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, Basic life support (BLS), any unrestricted state license
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days

Facility Location

Crown Point is situated in Northwest New Mexico; right on the Eastern edge of the Navajo Reservation, and only a few hours’ drive north to the Southern Rockies, and driving east will lead to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. World Class skiing is real close and the region has superb hiking and fishing opportunities. Many locations within Crown Point are suitable for jogging and bicycling
