Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locums tenens coverage in California. Shifts vary across times (7a-7p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a) with EPIC EMR support and standard inpatient procedures.

The candidate must hold an active California medical license, DEA registration, and be Board Certified or Board Eligible, with BLS and ACLS. Credentialing typically takes 60–90 days. AMN provides malpractice coverage and handles travel and lodging arrangements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage across shifts (varied schedules).

Hospitalist Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Pay Rate: $179.45 - $194.25

This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locums tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & support for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Various shifts available. 7a-7p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
• Total census per provider per shift: 284 (243 7AM census and 40 admits per day)
• Procedures required: Standard
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Support: Hospitalist will be responsible for Advanced Practitioner supervision
• Certifications and licenses required: Active California state medical license, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified or truly Board Eligible, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
