Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for night shifts with 12-hour blocks. Start date ASAP and a patient census of about 17 per provider per day. Meditech EMR will be used for documentation, with 2 day-round physicians and 1 NP/PA on night rounds.

Certifications include ACLS/BLS/PALS/ATLS and a state license; credentialing typically completes within 0-30 days. Malpractice coverage is provided via AMN's arrangement for contractor providers.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS and ATLS certifications required.
• State medical license and board certification preferred.
• Credentialing timeframe 0–30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide 7a-7p and 7p-7a coverage as Hospitalist.
• Manage census of about 17 patients per provider per day.
• Collaborate with 2 physicians on day rounds and NP/PA on night rounds.
• Document care in Meditech EMR.
