Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens coverage in Washington. Shifts include days (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), evenings (2:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.), and nights (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), with blocks every other week or 14-day blocks and a 6–12 month commitment. EMR is Epic and credentialing is ~90 days.

Qualifications include BLS and DEA registration. AMN arranges malpractice insurance and coordinates travel, lodging, and transportation for contractor providers.

Hospitalist Physician

This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Day shifts (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), swing shifts (2:00 p.m. to midnight), and night shifts (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.). Preferred blocks of 7 days every other week, with possible 14-day blocks. Commitment of 6-12 months.

Practice Setting: Inpatient.

Types of Cases: Hospitalist medicine, admissions, rounding, cross coverage, adult inpatient care, and code response for assigned patients.

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.

Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

Certifications Required: Basic Life Support, Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
