Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas
• Masters of Nursing required
• Licensed to practice professional nursing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the State of Texas
• APRN and eligibility for full prescriptive authority by the State of Texas
• Certified by a recognized national certification in population foci and/or additional specialty recognition
• Certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas State Board
• DEA licensure eligibility
• ACLS or BLS certification

Aufgaben

• Provide health promotion and the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient problems within approved protocols and pathways
• Ability to float to multiple facilities and take call; participate in hospital rounds
• Document medical records and submit charges in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers to develop and evaluate patient care
• Maintain current understanding of regulatory requirements and participate in process improvement activities
