Memorial Hermann is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care across lifespan settings. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up within an interdisciplinary team, with authority to prescribe under delegated supervision.

Candidates must meet Texas NP/PA educational requirements, hold appropriate licensure, and maintain ACLS/BLS certifications. The position emphasizes adherence to clinical protocols and patient-centered care.

Formación

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas and Masters required.
• May encompass CRNA, CNM, CNS, CNP specialties.
• Licensed to practice professional nursing by the State of Texas.
• Licensure by the Texas APRN and eligibility for full prescriptive authority.
• Certified by a national certification by the State Board of Texas for population foci and/or specialty recognition.
• DEA licensure eligibility.
• Basic or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide health assessment, diagnosis, and management for patient problems within APRN/PA scope.
• Obtain medical histories; perform exams; interpret tests and formulate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to protocols, guidelines, and clinical pathways; ensure accurate billing and documentation.
