Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide comprehensive patient care across the lifespan within our hospitals. Candidates must meet Texas NP/PA licensure requirements and credentialing, and have training in the relevant population focus areas.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice within approved protocols, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and commitment to safe, compassionate, and efficient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas with a Master's degree.
• Licensed to practice in Texas with APRN licensure and eligibility for full prescriptive authority.
• Certified by a recognized national board in area of population focus.
• Basic or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (BCLS/ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Provides health promotion and the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient problems across lifespan.
• Prescribes medications under approved protocols and supervision.
• Documents medical records and submits charges in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with physicians and other providers in care planning and care transitions.
• Engages in process improvement and clinical outcome activities.
