Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care within the hospitalist service. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across the patient population and requires state licensure in Texas and prescriptive authority readiness.

Providers will participate in rounds, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure timely documentation and billing.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas; Masters of Nursing required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program; Masters of Nursing strongly preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an Acute Care NP in Texas; APRN prescriptive authority eligibility; DEA licensure eligibility.
• ACLS or BLS certification required by position.

Aufgaben

• Provide health promotion, assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient care across lifespan.
• Perform histories and physicals; develop and adjust treatment plans; document medical records and charges.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; participate in rounds and hospital protocols.
• Respond to clinical questions promptly and maintain privacy and compliance per MH policies.
