Job summary

Qualifications

Job Details

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner sought to join a large, vibrant, and growing nocturnist hospitalist team
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
• Full-time nights schedule with premium differentials offered
• No call requirements

• Comprehensive orientation provided by experienced Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
• Provide appropriate treatment within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
• Utilize EPIC and state-of-the-art clinical informatics technology to support patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
