BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (PA/NP) to join the Hospitalist/Emergency team in Hartford, CT.

You will provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounds, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status under established guidelines. The APP Clinical Lead collaborates with the APP Manager to ensure staffing and efficient team functioning; CT licensure (or eligibility) and board-eligible PA/NP status are required.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in hospitalist medicine.
• Licensed to practice in Connecticut (or eligible) as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Board-eligible status for PA/NP required.

Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Open to Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in hospitalist medicine
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
• The APP Clinical Lead will collaborate closely with the APP Manager in day-to-day management of the team, including ensuring adequate staffing and promoting efficient team functioning
• Experience in Quality and Safety leadership is recommended, though not required
• Dedicated administrative time provided, approximately a minimum of 4 hours per week (10% administrative, 90% clinical)
• Full-time days with a flexible schedule and premium differentials offered
• No call schedule required
• Inpatient medicine/hospitalist setting located at 80 Seymour Street, Hartford, CT
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients under established guidelines
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to specialists and other health team members
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice and refer appropriately when outside scope
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Comprehensive orientation provided by experienced Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists
• Access to state-of-the-art EPIC clinical and informatics technology
• Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
