Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details

• Seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a close-knit, collaborative inpatient medicine team
• Full-time, swing shift position (afternoon into evening) with premium differentials and incentives offered
• No call required
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists as appropriate
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and identify when referral to physician is necessary
• Practice in a smaller community-focused setting with wide clinical scope, autonomy, and room for professional growth
• Dedicated support and voice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants through the Office of Advanced Practice
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
• Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care-certified) required
• Minimum 1+ year of Advanced Practice experience in a hospitalist or similar setting required
• Paid CME time off plus CME budget with reimbursed professional licenses and dues
