The Hospitalist Manager – Hospitalist Medicine Group at Charleston Area Medical Center leads and coordinates the hospitalist team to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and effective collaboration across the organization.

This role manages administrative needs for the HMG, including clinical schedules, quality, reports, and day-to-day operations, and supports initiatives such as post-acute care optimization with scalable workflows.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required with progressive leadership experience in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of hospitalist medicine, healthcare regulations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, develop strategic initiatives, and drive process improvement.
• Demonstrated success in team management and development.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the point of contact between the hospital and physicians for administrative functions.
• Create and distribute the hospitalist schedule.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Hospitalist Medicine Group (HMG).
• Support Medical Director in scheduling meetings and coordinating physician interviews.
• Maintain monthly statistical reports and manage credentialing records for physicians and APPs.
