Job summary

UP Health System-Portage in Hancock, MI seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Hospitalist team. This employed role is 0.80 FTE with full-time benefits and a schedule of 139, 12-hour night shifts per year under the guidance of a Hospitalist physician.

The position is 100% inpatient, covering inpatient, observation and swing bed patients, with a collegial, supportive practice environment and Meditech Magic EMR support.

Position Details

• .80 FTE with fulltime benefits
• 139, 12- hour night shifts per year
• Employed position
• 100% inpatient: inclusive if inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
• Collegial and supportive practice environment
• Average daily census of 18 inpatient/observation, 5 swing beds
• 2pm to 2am with Hospitalist physician on call.
• EMR: Meditech Magic
