Job summary

UP Health System-Portage in Hancock, MI seeks a Hospitalist APP to provide 100% inpatient care within Lifepoint Health's collaborative team. The role features a 2pm–2am schedule with on-call duties and a 0.80 FTE with full-time benefits, and a supportive practice environment.

You'll work with Meditech Magic EMR and participate in a comprehensive compensation package including base salary, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, retirement plan, benefits, CME, and loan repayment options.

Responsibilities

• Care for inpatient and observation patients during night shifts.
• Collaborate with Hospitalist team to ensure quality patient care.
• Utilize Meditech Magic EMR for charting and documentation.

Position Details

• .80 FTE with fulltime benefits

• 139, 12- hour night shifts per year

• Employed position

• 100% inpatient: inclusive if inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients

• Collegial and supportive practice environment

• Average daily census of 18 inpatient/observation, 5 swing beds

• 2pm to 2am with Hospitalist physician on call.
