UP Health System-Portage in Hancock, MI is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for hospitalist services on a Lifepoint Health team. The role is 0.80 FTE with full-time benefits, providing inpatient care on a 2pm–2am schedule with on-call hospitalist support.

The position emphasizes collaborative, collegial practice in a high-volume inpatient setting, leveraging Meditech Magic EMR. Employed with competitive compensation, relocation and CME benefits may be available.

• Experience in inpatient hospital medicine setting.
• Ability to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient hospitalist care to adult patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.

Position Details

• .80 FTE with fulltime benefits
• 139, 12- hour night shifts per year
• Employed position
• 100% inpatient: inclusive if inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
• Collegial and supportive practice environment
• Average daily census of 18 inpatient/observation, 5 swing beds
• 2pm to 2am with Hospitalist physician on call.
