Nashville General Hospital seeks a Staff Education professional to lead systemwide learning, competency, and workforce development. Design, coordinate, and evaluate orientation, annual education, regulatory training, and department-specific learning using adult-learning principles and varied delivery methods.

Responsibilities include onboarding support, creating instructional materials, coaching, and measuring course effectiveness.

Competenze

• Master's degree preferred in education, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; active nursing license required/needed.
• Five years of progressive healthcare education, professional development, or related experience required or strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Builds and maintains accurate education records and dashboards.
• Leads policy, procedure, and competency validation across departments.
• Delivers orientation, annual education, regulatory training, and department-specific learning.
• Uses adult-learning principles and multiple delivery methods (in-person, virtual, simulation).
• Collaborates with leaders and subject-matter experts to ensure content accuracy and alignment with hospital policies.
• Provides coaching and hands-on instruction to improve performance and knowledge.
• Coordinates education across shifts and locations to maximize participation.
• Supports onboarding and role-specific learning plans for staff and students.
• Promotes a professional, inclusive learning environment and drives continuous improvement.
