Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• 1 year experience as a security officer or related position in an acute care setting (preferred).
• IAHSS training within 90 days of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI within 90 days of hire.
• Class D Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Secures the premises from unauthorized entry.
• Provides support and assistance to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Prepares and submits reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times; strong communication and customer service skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
