Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Security Guard (Class D License) for the night shift (11pm-7am). The role supports hospital safety, reports, and customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.

Required are a Class D license, 1 year of security experience in acute care, and post-hire certifications (IAHSS, BLS, CPI) within set timeframes. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations
• 1 year experience as a security officer or related position in an acute care setting
• Certification for Safety and Security Procedures IAHSS training required within 90 days of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• CPI within 90 days of hire.
• Class D Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Secures the premises from unauthorized entry.
• Provides support and assistance, both physical and psychological, to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Prepares and submits reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
